Upcoming week

For the remainder of the week: 1) Using Powerpoint and YOUTUBE, you will need to find 10 commericals from different companies. 2) Link the commerical to your powerpoint presentation. For each commercial do the following: a) Who is the audience that the commerical is made for? b) Is it Product Advertising, or Institutional Advertising? c) What is the OBJECTIVE (Inform, Persuade, or Remind)? d) What stage is this product in the product life cycle? e) Is it using compairative advertising? f) Is it using a celebrity? Who? How are they known? Why do you think they are using that celebrity in their advertisement? g) Is the advertisement based on Fear? Sex Appeal? Humor? 3) Include a picture of the company logo on the slide, and a picture of the product as well. You will have a quiz on Tuesday, April 5th on Chapter 16.
